1. Engage in Interactive Art Activities

Unleash your inner artist by participating in hands-on experiences designed for all ages. Join the Expression Section: A Paint by Number Mural, where you can contribute to a large communal artwork, watching it come to life with each brushstroke. For a unique twist, try the Spin Art Experience at The Odyssey building. Here, you can hop on a stationary bicycle connected to a spinning canvas, pedal away, and create a dynamic piece of art to take home. Additionally, the Animation Academy offers complimentary classes led by Disney animators, guiding you through the process of drawing beloved Disney characters—a perfect souvenir from your artistic adventure.

2. Savor Culinary Masterpieces at Food Studios

The festival’s Food Studios present a delectable fusion of art and cuisine, offering dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. Explore offerings like the Deconstructed Dish, where classic meals are playfully reimagined, or visit Goshiki in the Japan Pavilion to experience the five colors of Japanese cuisine through innovative creations like the sushi donut. Because each dish has as much of a focus on presentation as anything else, your taste buds are as engaged as your artistic senses.

3. Experience the Disney on Broadway Concert Series

Immerse yourself in musical theater with the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. This is one of my favorite things in any Disney park all year!

Held at the America Gardens Theatre, this series features talented Broadway stars performing cherished Disney songs live. With shows scheduled multiple times daily, it’s an entertainment highlight that adds a melodious note to your festival experience. For those seeking a complete evening, consider booking a Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package, which includes a meal at select EPCOT restaurants and guaranteed seating for the performance.

4. Discover and Collect Unique Artwork

Stroll through EPCOT to find a diverse array of art galleries and exhibits showcasing the talents of over 100 Disney and visiting artists. From live painting demonstrations to intricate chalk art displays, there’s inspiration at every corner. Engage with artists, learn about their creative processes, and perhaps purchase a piece that resonates with you. Don’t miss the Chalk Art Galleries on the bridge to Showcase Plaza, where you can witness artists crafting both 2D and 3D masterpieces right before your eyes.

5. Participate in Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt

Embark on a whimsical journey with Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt. Purchase a map and set off to locate Figment hidden within famous artworks across the World Showcase pavilions. This engaging activity is perfect for families, offering a fun and educational way to explore the park. Upon completing the hunt, return your map to designated locations to receive a special surprise, adding a delightful conclusion to your artistic adventure.

EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts is a celebration of creativity in its many forms. By engaging in these activities, you’ll not only witness art but become a part of the artistic tapestry that makes this festival a standout experience at Walt Disney World Resort and my personal favorite of all the Epcot festivals.
