Got Questions? I've got answers!

Why should I book with a travel agent?

There are many reasons to book through a travel agent!

It removes the stress and burden from you having to organize all the components and find all the deals. You have someone on your side finding the best prices, packages, and offerings - including adding applicable deals to your booking even after you've booked it. And you're supporting a small business (me!) by allowing me to book your trip for you, instead of just the big name companies you're traveling to.

Are your services REALLY free for me to use?

Yes, absolutely 100% free. There is no planning fee or mark up on your trip by using me to book and plan it. I'm paid by the vendors who provide a commission - because they want travel agents like me out there helping promote and sell their bookings.

How long do I have to book and pay after receiving a quote?

This varies by the type of quote/trip you're looking at.

For Disney Parks, I can place your booking on a 'hold' for 3 days. This saves it to go back to later once you've reviewed it and protects it from being grabbed up and sold out. Once you're ready to book, you will owe a deposit that again varies by the trip type. Packages (room + tickets) all have a $200 deposit. Room only bookings will typically be the first night rate plus tax. Tickets only are due in full at time of booking. For those bookings with a deposit, the full balance is due roughly 30 days out from the start of your trip.

Other destinations like Universal, cruise lines (Disney and others), and everything in between all have their own deposit and payment rules. This is also true for 'hold' rules - though most destinations have a similar 3-day hold policy to Disney. I'll review all of that with you with specific dates for your custom trip.

How are payments handled if you're booking for me?

Once you receive your quote and ready to book it, I will send you a credit card authorization form (one-page) to input your card details, billing address, etc. and this authorizes me to make the purchase on your behalf.

For bookings with multiple payments (i.e. a deposit and final balance), you will need to do a new credit card authorization form for each transaction. This is to protect you so you always know what's coming out of your account and when.

Many destinations have payment plans available and we can always make smaller payments ahead of your final balance due date if you prefer. We can work out a timeline one on one if that's helpful for you even if the destination doesn't have their own payment plan system (i.e. Disney Parks).

I like making my own Disney plans - can I still do that if you book for me?

Of course! I can be as involved as you want me to be, and I can let you take the reins if you prefer.

There are as many different types of travel clients as there are trips and destinations (endless!). If you know the ins and outs of Disney offerings like I do, and want to book things like dining, lightning lanes, etc. on your own, that's totally okay. Of course, I'm also happy to help you out if even the thought of that sounds scary. There's a spot on my quote request form to tell me how involved you want me to be - so just be honest and we'll go from there!

I don't live in the US, can I still book with you?

This will depend on 1) where you're from and 2) where you're traveling. There are some restrictions and different counties have their own rules about travel agents. Submit a quote request and we'll talk through your specific situation!

What happens if I need to cancel or modify my trip after booking?

The specific answer will depend on your type of trip and how far along you are in the process, and how that connects with the destination's cancellation, modification, and refunds policy (which you are expected to be aware of and agree to follow when requesting a quote).

So, the short answer is: reach out to me and we'll talk through what's going on and figure out what your options are. Life happens, and so even though I'm not paid for cancelled bookings, I'm more than happy to help you figure it out.

I have more questions, how can I ask them before submitting a quote request?
